SITTING ON THE FLOOR EXERCISES 01

Instructions:

Sit on the floor with your legs crossed.

 

Hold the strap above your head.

  • Wider than shoulder width.
  • Arms extended.
  • Keep tension on the strap at all times.
 

While keeping your back straight, bend your torso to one side.

  • Try to make the stretch a little deeper every breath out.
  • Try to hold the stretch for at least 20 seconds.
 

For more results repeat several times with 3-5 seconds rest in between repetitions.

 
Variation:

Extend your leg to the side that you’re bending into to also stretch your hamstrings in this pose.
